Well serviced by airlines such as Air Mauritius, Kenyan Airways and Air Mozambique, Jomo Kenyatta International has slowly developed into a deserved hub for flights in region. Only a four hour flight away the idyllic islands of Mauritius and the Seychelles can easily be reached in a day. Similarly, the undisturbed shores and reefs of northern Mozambique can be reaches from safari spots, such as the Mara, in a matter of hours. Otherwise, for those who would like a little further safari time or to sample the famous white beaches and overwhelming mysticism of Zanzibar, Tanzania shares the southern most border.

If it is more safari that is required, again the options are numerous with the emerald beauty of Rwanda and Uganda a quick flight away. Just across the border are the numerous herds of the Serengeti to the south and the mystical beauty of Ethiopia to the north.
