Serena Hotel It is the best of the large, inner Nairobi hotels. The Serena has all of the hallmarks and standards you would expect from an international, business hotel. The services are second to none, with air-conditioning as standard, 24 hour laundry, a good sized pool and top rate gym. Located right in the centre of town, the hotel is surprisingly low-rise but has 185 rooms from which to choose.

The best rooms are by far the garden rooms which have their own patio and large sitting area. It is a fairly long way to get to the sites in and around Karen, but if it is just for a stop over then this is perfect.
