Il Moran Camp – Our viewIl Moran is the smartest of the Governors’ Collection and, for the money, offers a superb safari experience for very good value. The rooms themselves are vast and all feature views onto the Mara River. Stunning wooden beds and bronze baths typify the feel of the camp in general. Again, set in a superb location, the camp is very real, and much cheaper, alternative to the nearby Bateleur Camp. If you want to safari in style then this is a great choice.

Il Moran Camp – The Detail
Hidden under ancient trees, deep in the forest, are just 10 luxury tents. They line the winding banks of the Mara River as it winds its way through the Paradise Plains area of the eastern Mara, which provides the backdrop to one of the greatest migrations and wildlife spectacles known to man.
Each of the vast tents features a super ‘king size’ bed fashioned from ancient fallen olive trees, and Victorian style baths. Dinner is served by candlelight in the open dining tent or alfresco by the river.
