Giraffe Manor This itself contains 5 rooms and has the feel of an English country house, but instead of peacocks, it is rangy giraffe that mow the lawn. If giraffes are your thing and you would like to share breakfast with one then this is the ideal spot!
Originally built by the Duncan family in the 30’s, and populated with the rare Rothschild giraffe in 1974 by Jock Leslie-Melville, the manor and its inquisitive pets have thrived together.

A very good option for those looking for something a little different, it is possible to visit the adjoining giraffe centre to learn a little more about these bizarre animals. The rooms are pretty basic in feel, but are a real step back into Kenyan colonial history as most of the original paintings and pictures adorn the walls.
