Serian This was discovered by the owner, Alex Walker, while working as a private guide in the area. Located on the sides of a small valley that drops down to the Mara River and close to the Siria Escarpment, it is very welll located for the migration whilst being set aside from the bustle of the other camps.
Each of the 8 tented rooms has an adjoining private wash area with showers that look out to the valley below. Fetsuring beautifully soft beds and persian rugs there has been no expense in its building. The communal areas too have had plenty of attention paid to them and make the most of the views with a large, platformed open air dining area and cosy lounge to relax in after a days activities. Like most of the other concession lodges on the outskirts of the Greater Mara, it is possible to walk as well as drive on safari.

A very well organised and friendly camp that is well located for the migration, particularly during the later months of September and October. Alex is a great host and has great plans for the lodge with, potentially, a series of water cottages being constructed down by the river. This a great and relaxing place to base yourself for a few nights to see and learn about this facinating area.
