Rekero It has been long established as one of the top tented camps in the Mara, It holds arguably the best location, close to the Mara River and on a crossing point on the Talek.
Rekero is owner run by Gerrard and Rainee Beaton and is made up of 7 safari tents set amongst tall acacia. Each is well appointed with en-suite flush loos, safari showers and great views out to the river banks beyond where a host of local birds reside. A gradual slope slides from the entrance of the communal area down to the river, and evening discussions around the camp fire with the noises of the wildebeest in the background are the norm.
