House of Waine

The House of Waine is a small, upmarket house set in the quiet Nairobi suburb of Karen (once home to the famous writer, Karen Blixen). The house, itself, is a modern replica of the old colonial houses that were once the norm of this leafy region.

Serena Hotel

It is the best of the large, inner Nairobi hotels. The Serena has all of the hallmarks and standards you would expect from an international, business hotel. The services are second to none, with air-conditioning as standard, 24 hour laundry, a good sized pool and top rate gym. Located right in the centre of town, the hotel is surprisingly low-rise but has 185 rooms from which to choose.
