Naibor nestles in a grove of riverine forest on the banks of the Talek River within the world famous Maasai Mara Game reserve, Southern Kenya. Consisting of sweeping pale-canvas tents, king-size beds, comfortable sofas and airy verandahs, the camp is a luxurious base from which to explore this beautiful area. Since Naibor is in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, it is fortunate to be able to offer guests the most amazing diversity of wild life throughout the year. Furthermore, due to the camp location just up from the Mara/Talek confluence, they are strategically placed for the wildebeest migration, being within twenty minutes drive of all the major Mara River crossings.

In the main Naibor camp, every one of the nine guest tents is a private unit complete with shady verandah, his & hers wash basins, en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower, filled daily with hot water on request. The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture so that you have the ultimate in camping-luxury to come back to after exciting game drives or walks in the nearby conservancy.

A slightly younger sister to the infamous Shompole Camp down on the Tanzanian border, Naibor is a beautiful tented camp set in a stunning area in the centre of the Mara. Each of the 9 tents has been well thought out and use a side opening construction that allow you to feel even more a part of the forest around you. While the lodge may not have the views out of its neighbour, Rekero, both camps are in one of the best areas of the Mara. With very good guiding and a spacious, relaxed atmosphere, this is a great little camp that makes you feel very much a part of the environment. One of the top camps in the Mara.
